Deadline is comming up and i must make a choice!!!

My biggest concern with this lappy is the 1.06ghz and 4200rpm. if i config with 2gb memory + P1 bloatware removal + downgrade to XP, will this thing be a turtle or a rabbit in the cartoon race?

so are you guys happy with your baby tz150? Can you tell me what u like and dislike of the laptop after how long it is that u have own it?

    thankyou

and no, i can't afford the high price SSD.

I love my TZ150. I don't think that it is worth it to buy the SSD drive; I mean, it is a "premium" technology, but not now for me.

2 gb RAM and the P1 bloatware make the TZ usable. It is neither going to be a turtle nor a rabbit. It is going to be in between, but slightly to the rabbit.

I like the screen, keyboard, weight, media buttons, biometric, form factor, DVD drive, BIOS biometric integration, heat, performance, wi-fi, bluetooth, non-annoying indicator lights

I wish the TZ comes with a back-lit keyboard, and higher volume range. I touch type, but a back-lit keyboard would be nice ;)

And as it is with Windows OS, once you tweak the small details, it would perform well. I am still using Vista.

If I may, I'd like to add another question for owners. Does it get very hot on the bottom?

Yes, and it's not an option on any of the North American models right now except for the $4000 TZ198 that comes with a 64GB SSD, 200GB 5400RPM hard drive, and an external DVD drive. You can import one with this option much more cheaply.

Pricejapan.com and Conics.net are great importers. Actually most than the half of TZ users bought their lappy from there. Yes, is cheaper but if happen something you must send it back to Japan by warranty and if you are in Europe you must calculate the import taxes also

    But is still worth it!
