Hi!
I installed a Vista Business 64 bit system on my SZ680.
The PS QL 5.6 is for 32 bit systems only.
Do you know where can I download a 64 bit version or where can I download the version 5.8 which supports 64 bit Vista too?
Thanks in advance!

The only place you can download it is from here for $15. No notebook site currently offers this as a free download.

I found two utils...
1:
I downloaded from Intel site.
It has the version number: 5.6.2
It is in a 42MB driver and application package (Compal notebook)
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=2793&DwnldID=13165&lang=eng
Use only the application, the driver can be downloaded from Sony...
It is working on my SZ680.
2:
This is not that package, but it is the same version as the factory installed 32 bit utility from Sony site... v5.6.0.3152

I dont have driver for the VGP-VCC7 camera. Do you know where can I download it? -

Thanks for the information so far guys...really helped me to get the Protector Suite going paritally. Well partially as it gives the following error when it starts up:
********************
The connected biometric device is not supported in the current configuration.
Please use a different fingerprint device or install the software in mode which enrolls users to the hard drive.
********************
I've Windows Server 2008 64-bit (Standard edition) on my VAIO SZ680 with the Biometric device driver configured as 'TouchChip FingerPrint Coprocessor' (have installed the 2.11 version of the driver).
Tried searching the above error message on the net but not much luck so far. Any help would be more than appreciated. Thanks.

check out this link: http://upek.com/support/customersupport/techsupport/Topic.asp?ID_Topic=30 and set your devicebio value to 3 so you can initialize your fingerprints and enroll to the hard drive. i had to do the same thing after i installed vista 64 bit and the upek s/w.
