I have a little problem and hope someone out there has a fix.

A little history on my VAIO VGN-SZ160P...
    -Purchased 2005
    -Did semi-restore ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=44587)
    -Battery dies 2006 (never replaced)
-Modded my touchpad with this method ( http://doube.org/sztp.html)
-Beginning of Feb, 2009 I was getting blue screens saying something like "you have a memory problem, blah, blah...".
-Two days after the first blue screen and right after the second blue screen (which only happened when a USB HDD was attached) the USB ports stopped working when a HDD USB (bus powered) was plugged into the machine. My G7 mouse adapter works fine though.
-At the same time the USB ports stop, I noticed the integrated camera stops working.
-I think there is some kinda power issue because my touchpad has gone haywire again.

I have reinstalled the OS three times to see if that would fix things. I have installed the various drivers though VAIO support with no positive results. I have disassembled my notebook 5-6 times to look inside for physical problems and found nothing I could visually see. I have powered off the machine without battery (as mentioned by another member) over night to no effect.

Anyone have this problem and fixed it?
