    My Z46GD with the sleep/hibernate issues also has another problem. If its on, the USB devices will not be recognized until I restart. This is truly a pain.
    The USB devices properties have "allow computer to turn off to save power" set to disable but still the problem persists.

    Check out Sony's Support site, look for a patch they issued back around Feb for this exact problem. Normally under System Software folder. Tried looking for your model, but does not recognize it on Sony's site.
