Hi All,
I'm thing about getting one fo these awesome looking slim adapters for my Viao Z12, but I wanted to see if anyone else had tried it and had some feedback on it.

Also, I'm not an EE guy, so is it possible to make a universial adapater that works properly? It seems like different brands of adapters operate at different voltages, Will it damanage the battery?

Their global site lists the VGN-Z as compatible so I don't see why the VPC-Z wouldn't be considering I use the same tips in my other adapters between the 2 notebooks.

I think it'll work and the VPC-Z is just too new. VGN-Z (listed) uses same adapter as VPC-Z11.

I am about to order one right now...
update:
I will give a review once I receive it. -
I can't say 100% but what I can tell you is that my VGN-Z590 and VPC-Z chargers work with one another interchangeably. So, considering VGN-Z is listed as compatible with the USNA95 I think it's safe to assume your VPC-Z12 should be compatible as well.

Can you take a pic or two next to the factory Sony charger?

Can someone change the title of the thread read to read "USNA 95 - Slim Adapter Compatibility for the vaio z12", Or I can start a new thread. -
Achusaysblessyou eecs geek ftw :D
Hmm i personally use the Energizer XPAL xp18000 external battery pack for my Z, and i carry around that + its adapter(Zoinks referred it). So that when I'm on the go w/o any outlet, i can use the batt pack, if there is an outlet, i can power the Z through the ext batt pack. It does add some weight, but the Z is light enough AND it comes with a ton of tips so i can charge my other electronic devices. But this is REALLY small...
... I didnt see anything about the length of the wire to the outlet, then to the wall...
p.s. I got it off ebay for $86 + $10 shipping. -
