    Hi Everyone:
I currently re-format my Sony Vaio model FE-880E from English Windows Vista to Chinese(Taiwan) Windows Vista because i moved back to Taiwan. I was able to find all drivers except this so called "Sony Firmware Extension Parser Devide" Therefore, some function buttons were not working :( . However, i found it in Sony esupport USA :) so i was so happy and downlaoded it. When i was going to installing the file last night, a message showed up as " This update can only run on Microsoft Windows Vista". Then i tried couple of times and the same message still showed up on my screen. I try to search online for a way to solve this issue but i didn't find any result. Therefore, if anyone had the same issue before or know a way to solve this issue, please help me. Thank you to everyone who watch my thread.

Bump. I have the same issue: I put a new drive in my system, loaded Win 7 _professional_. When I download the same driver, I get the same message. From the download pagt, the installer is looking for Win 7 Home, and it doesn't like/recognize win 7 pro. Is there a way/reg setting I can set to bypass this?
