    Hi Guys,
    I've been trying to look for the NHC specific settings to undervolt the Vaio S560, but it's been hard to find one. So I'd like to start a thread to compare the voltage settings for this model.

    Currently my setting is as follows:
    6x = 0.796V
    8x = 0.860V
    10x = 0.892V
    12x = 1.004V
    14x = 1.084V

    I tested with prime95, torture test = Blend for over 6 hours with both the maximum performance and maximum battery settings, aka 14x @ 1.084V and 6x @ 0.796V. They worked fine.
    I also try attaching a PCMCIA card during the test, play mp3s with foobar2000, browse the net, open folders, etc. Always stable.
    Finally, the temperature at 6x is 50C and 14x is 60C during the prime95 tests.

    Battery life with 6x, 3 hours. I'm not sure about the battery life before NHC, I think it's between 2:30 to 3 hours. Screen brightness is level 4.

    I'm not sure about the stability of the remaining 8x-12x though.

    By no means, I don't think my setting is the optimum one, but it will be nice if we can post the comparisons with other settings.
    Thanks!

    Hello im on a S460 been on these for the last month no problems ( ive not run any specific test for the cpu although i have run 3d 2003 quite alot after tweaking with rivertuner
    6x .780v
    the rest 1.1v

    From what ive read it pretty much only matters the top and bottom multiplier as this is where it'll spend 99.9% of the time, hope you get plenty of replies, if not post how you got on in the mid range please.

    Your probaly aware but if you click on the text below the settings bit in NHC it lists a load of setting for a load of cpu's

    Ah, thanks for the reply.
    Yes, I'm aware of the settings listed in the help page, I think it's the recommended one. My setting above is when I substract ~0.2V from the Voltage#1 setting on the help page. Although I wonder what the Voltage #2 is for.

    At 2110MHz .. 100%CPULoad .. NHC1.10B1 Stability Check

    .6x = 0.988V..53ºC new 0.796V..51ºC
    .8x = 1.084V...... new 0.876V......
    .9x = 1.132V...... new 0.908V......
    10x = 1.164V...... new 0.972V......
    11x = 1.212V...... new 1.036V......
    12x = 1.260V...... new 1.100V......
    13x = 1.308V..70ºC new 1.196V..65ºC
    13x = 1.308V..70ºC new 1.196V..65ºC

    Why does it show 13x twice???

    Maybe that's supposed to be 13x then 14x with NHC, instead of both at 13x
