    Hey guys,

I have no clue how to uninstall Vaio Media Gallery, Media Plus, PMB, Vaio Transfer Support.
(These programs seem to be useless and better options are out there)

I figure to keep Vaio Care, Vaio Control Center, Vaio Update, Vaio Data Restore, and Vaio Gate.

If you think any of the programs I am keeping is crap, please let me know and why?

Anyways, please let me know how to uninstall those apps! I use Windows 7 x64, and there is no uninstaller like for previous windows.

Open Control Panel, click on Uninstall a Program, select the application you want to uninstall and then click on the Uninstall button on the toolbar. The applications you listed are no different to any other application and can all be uninstalled in this way.

Sorry, I thought you were looking for an uninstaller on the Start menu or in the program folders.

I would try downloading and running the installers from Sony's website. That should give you an option to uninstall or at the very least allow you to reinstall them and add uninstall entries to the list.

Then try either Revo uninstaller or CCleaner (the tools tab). Both programs offer unistalling options that should perform what you desire.

Unless I'm being seriously unobservant - I don't seem to have any of that on my new Z - thankfully - as far as I can see I've only got the 'useful/necessary' Vaio programs on there....

On c:/Program Files (x86)/Sony folder you will find a Vaio Uninstaller folder. In this folder there is an application and you can uninstall the Vaio applications, which you cannot find on windows programs list.
