    Unstalling/deleting stuff REDUCED my harddrive space? wth?

    ok I had 87.1 gB free on C drive. i uninstalled some sony sonic stage crap and cleaned out my recycle bin and other unneeded old files.

    now my hard drive space is 86.4.

    can anybody explain?



    edit: Wow i just restarted my laptop now (fz190 160 GB hdd) and now my free space is 86.1!!

    what the hell is going on here?

    Maybe System Restore is the reason.

    delet the restore points from disk cleanup extra options
