    Hello

I have a basic question that I'm hoping you could answer. I've had my laptop for over 1 year and I must say, I'm very impressed. It's only recently when I attempted to play and install a game that I hit issues. Basically, something called a "Vertex Shader" isn't installed in any version at all on my laptop. I've been reading around the internet-some have said that by using drivers you can get the vertex shader, whilst others have said that you are stuck with it. I have attempted to install the driver, but Intel gives me an error message saying that its incompatible and I must contact the manufacturer. Having done that, it appears Sony have merely original drivers already installed. I am running the mobile chipset 965 express family and Media accelerator X3100.
I'm not in the maket for a new laptop, as I don't see the point in splashing out for a single game, however, I would just like my problem to be cleared up

    thanks
