Hi, I remember there was a thread specifically on upgarding the Sony Vaio SR harddrives, but I can't find it. Can someone post the link if they have it?

Basically other than that I have a few questions. First, will the sony HD protection thingy work on the new harddrive? Second, can I use the recovery disk to install the OS on the new harddrive and lastly I am looking to get the Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320gb harddrive, is there considerable differences between that and the normal 5400rpm 120gb offered by Sony? --> Is there also a "clicking" noise that many ownsers of the SG 7200.3 claim to have? Or any other noticeable annoying noises that occurs while operating on the Seagate 7200.3 drive?

    Thanks. And happy holidays guys.
