This is a very informative site, so i signed up. Long story short i got a sony vaio UX 380n, i already did a 128gb ssd runcore pro IV upgrade in janauary. Now i'm interested in upgrading a few things here and there with it again.

However i don't have many very choices, example there is a mod to make the American ux's with compact flash cards capable, and also there is a mini pci express slot for adding something. I have not included soldering in my upgrade, since i don't have a IRDA machine right now and am interested in upgrading the features today.

    So basically i'd have a

    Compact Flash Slot
    Mini Pci-E Slot
    USB
    Memory stick duo slot

So i'm trying to figure out what to get.

I was thinking of getting a TV tuner card, something like this

Newegg.com - Habey HB-MAT5070 ATI Theater HD PCI express Mini Card ATSC/DVB-T/Clear-QAM Digital TV tuner card - Server Accessories

I've seen the broadcam crystal HD but i don't really care for 1080p decoding since i don't watch many movies on my ux and i'd rather have something beneficial. I know there's no mini pci-e graphics adapter currently, i was also thinking of maybe adding a wifi+bluetooth nic in the mini-pci-e and get a few various compact flash cards. Anyways would appreciate the input, as you can see, trying to figure out what exactly to get and want to do it today.

I moved your thread to the Sony forum. Maybe you'll get some more input here.

I think you should try this site- it is the site for Sony UX mods.
Some of the existing threads there will probably provide you with an answer to your question.
