I finally got an email that my Upgrade Disk is on its way from Sony. I have a VGN-750D/B partitioned into two hard drives one running Vista 64 and the other Partitioned Hard Drive Windows Server 2008.

I saw a post here that was never answered... Any issues installing W7 on my machine with the partitioned hard drive? My WS2008 is my most important hard drive.

As another option I can get my hands on any version of Windows 7 normal install medium. I am tempted to complete a fresh install but it seems like this method isn't full proof once you attempt to put the out of box Sony software and hardware applications on it.

I've ready quite a few posts regarding W7 on a few of the Sony models however...

Any suggestions, I suppose I can summarize with the following questions:

    1. Will installing Windows 7 on my partitioned hard drive impact my other Windows Server 2008 partition?
    2. Should I even bother with the upgrade disk at all, and simply just install a W7 version from my MSDN subscription, finally attempting to install the Sony applications afterwards?
