    People who have actually done it, would you recommend it? Keeping in mind, not just speed, but battery usage, drivers compatibility, headaches, etc.

    I have access to full professional version of Windows 7 dvd through our university, and am considering whether I should take this route.

    What's the sense of such a poll 2 months before sony releases drivers for win 7?

    Win 7 detects most drivers and for the rest you can use Vista drivers. When Sony releases new drivers it isn't hard to update them.

    So far Win7 is running smoothly. There's also a Win 7 thread.
