I really would like to upgrade my processor in my new VGN-NR110E/S laptop. I have been trying to find any information on the motherboard in them or pictures so I can figure out if it is possible. I currently has a pentium D 1.43 and I am hoping to put a core 2 duo because I have see the same models with 2.0 or 2.2 ghz in this laptop. If anyone that has info that could help, that would be much appriciated. Thank you!!!

i just installed a Core 2 Duo T7100 chip into the laptop, so far it boots and everything. Just havent really did any testing on it so far. Due to funds i could only afford the t7100 chip and if it didnt work it, it would only be 80$ down the drain. Id love to find out if this laptop could take the intel t7500. Anyways, just make sure you get the socket P, not M, if you just wanted to mess around to find out.
