I believe that you can upgrade the hard drive to as much as you can find, such as 250gb...but I'm not sure where you can get those drives...newegg maybe?

Not sure about the memory part tho...don't laptops can usually go for 4gb? although vista only recognizes 3 if it is not 64bit.

It says the max is 2gigs, but i currently have 2.5 and its running fine. i have 1x512gig and 1x2gig, so im pretty damn sure it can take "4 gigs". And also just upgraded to the Core 2 Duo T7100 chip. So far its running fine, but i havent done any tests yet. As for the fastest processor, i wouldnt know because supposedly it shouldnt even take the t7100. I wanted to see if it can take the t7500, but could only afford the t7100. And plus if it didnt work, it would only be 80$ down the drain for me. Just make sure u buy the socket P, not M.

Yeah I saw other NR series laptops have better processors and thats why Im wondering whats the max this model can be upgraded to. Thanks for the info though. A T7100 is a 1.8 GHz right?

The max 2GB thing is BS from what I have heard, it will take up to 4GB (you will require a 64-bit OS to make full use of anything over 3.5GB!).

As for CPU, as quick as you can get (I think the T7700 is the quickest Core2Duo at the moment).

As for HDD, as large as you can find (but im not sure if it uses IDE or SATA, you need to find that for yourself!)
