Just purchased a new Digital Camera coming from the SONY T-1. WIth this new NON-SONY camera I have a 4GB SD-HC Card that I tried inserting into my VGP-MCA20 adapter in my SZ-110. The adapter or slot, as per SOny Technicians does not have a firmware upgrade to recognize these high speed and large size cards. My micro-sd adapter for my phone works just fine on the SZ110. SOny Techsaid they will put in my request for a firmware upgrade and email me when one becomes available. Seems too good to be true, he made it sound easy. Until then I will carry around an extra cable wire when I travel to upload to the laptop. ANyone else have the same issue with these new Digital cameras. P.S I miss my SONY digi cam, but wanted to tst out a Canon since I did experience bad quality on the cam, it was 4 years old and read bad reviews for the current ones.

The requirements to read SDHC are (i) compatible hardware, (ii) an SDHC-compatible driver and (iii) operating system support.

See this thread as an example of getting SDHC to work.

I don't know if the SDHC patch for XP is included in SP3. It should be.
