    yes, you may do this

    first way - you need to buy 1.8" IDE SSD (with ZIF-connector) , which will cost you the bunch of money, but actually will give you only 60mb/sec read and 30mb/sec write... like a good pendrive :)

    2nd way, which I did myself - upgrade it to 2.5" SATA SSD, using original sony parts from TZ with HDD only.

    if you want I may send you the part numbers which is used for this.

    I have been think about the 2.5 SATA SSD possibility as well however how did you manage to boot from the 2.5 SSD as there is no option in the BIOS to do so...

    after the swap this 2.5" hdd will appear as HDD0 in the BIOS so it is possible to boot from it. I did it myself with my TZ.

    Both the 1.8" SSD(Hard disk drive 0) and 2.5"(Hard disk drive 1) show up in the BIOS however it always boot from the 1.8".Anything I am missing.
