Recently I upgraded my WLAN card on a VPCZ1. I removed the Intel Advanced N 6200 and replaced it with an Intel wireless-N 7260. I also removed the original BT module (kept the antenna for future use). I lost the 5Ghz capability but I gained a very stable WLAN+BT coexistence.
Both are PCI-E mini cards and have the same antenna connectors. The BT connector is now on the 5GHz antenna but it works ok...

My next step is to replace the WWAN (7,2Mbps) card with a faster one. Probably a 3G+ or 4G one.
Some of them have integral GPS modules. Has anyone attempted this? Is it possible to use GPS on a VPCZ1 or VPCZ2?
