I am interested in eventually upgrading some of the components of the 360. In particular, the hard drive and the DVD drive. I'd like to put in a DVD burner, and eventually a faster hard drive.

Has anybody found a good source for DVD burners for this unit? There is somebody advertising a generic drive on ebay, but I have no idea if the drive would work. I am not quite sure what websites I should browse for such an item. I gather I need a 9.5 height drive; pehaps Panasonic industrial is the only source?

Also, it looks like a 80gb or 100 gb dive with 7200 rpm would be quite expensive ($200 or more). Is this worth the expense?

Finally, are there any vendors that perform these sorts of upgrades?

    Thanks.
