    Is it possible to upgrade Sony SZ381 P/X Core 2 Duo CPU from 2.16 GHz to 2.33 GHz? Do I need Bios upgrade for that? Will the pre-installed drivers or utilities get freak out and refuse to run when they find a new CPU?

    I agree, don't mean to kill your enthusiasm for this project, but you will see a pretty minimal increase in performance, you would be better off getting a 7200 rpm hard drive to replace the 5400 rpm thats probably in the SZ and/or upgrade the ram.
