    i have just purchased a Sony FZ , and i wanted to upgrade my RAM to

    2GB 800MHZ DDR2 CL5 Sodimm OCZ


    will it work fine with my notebook?

    It will work, but it's not ideal. Your machine does not support 800MHz ram, so there's no point in getting it over 667MHz ram.

    You already have 2 gigs of ram. Why bother? Unless you're taking one gig out and putting another stick in. But as adinu said, you should simply go with 667 MHz ram.

    Are you asking whether you would see improvement by upgrading your RAM to 800MHz RAM instead of what you have now?
