I have sony VGN-Z591U with 32bit OS
Is there any possible way to upgrade my OS from 32 bit to 64 bit on my laptop?
I have check the sony website and they have no driver for 64bit (only 32 bit).
If I take the 64bit driver from different model e.g. VGN-Z690, because they have 64-bit driver. Will it work with my laptop?
Anyone have ever try that?

I just installed Windows 7 64bit into my Z590 and it works fine.
I downloaded and installed all required drivers and utilities of Z610Y from Sony support succesfully.
All you need to run Z610Y drivers and utilities is edit file Model.txt which's locate in Windows folder. Just replace your model with Z610Y and save everytime you run the software pack.
You have to run notepad with administraive privilege, then open file Model.txt in Windows folder to be able to overwrite it. -
I am computer noob... -
Here is procedure for the install.
