Has anyone Put a 1-gig of Ram and a Faster Hard-drive into this Notebook. And if you did can you tell me how the performance was. Did you see a big difference?

    Thanks

A faster hard drive will speed up your system performance. More memory may help depending on what you are doing.

Usually there is couple screws on the bottom. Take them off and slide out the drive. Take it out of the caddy and put in the new one. Sometimes there is an adapter on the end of the drive. If there is take it off and put it on the new one. Slide the drive back in and put screws back on. Now time to re-install the OS. This should all be covered somewhere in the manual.

Yes, you can replace the HDD with another HDD. The drive is located under the palm rest on top. There was a link somewhere that showed the whole process with pictures, but I can't seem to find it.

If I do find it, I will be sure to post it here.

EDIT: Found it! Site may load kinda slow, but VERY detailed HDD replacement!
