    I'm shopping for a Z13. I am looking at adding 2 x 128 GB SSD and 4GM RAM. How easy/difficult is this? Am I better off buying a preconfigured Z13 or upgrading it myself?

    ur better off finding on on ebay, ram is easy to upgrade to 8gb, storage not so much, depends on what your needs are. the ssd upgrades are a bit harder to get by but there are options

    ...and as an aside, im not a mod but do you really need to start a new thread for every single question you have? u have created 3 different threads already within the past few hours

    You could upgrade the RAM by just poping out the two screws in the underneath and swapping them out. But the SSD is harder to upgrade. But your luck finding those parts might be harder. Probably try eBay for cheaper or Sony Parts. As its a oem part, the micro-SSD's in the Z is not for sale at retailers. Furthermore, there migth be some bios upgrade or limitation between the different type of ssd's out there. I think there are both toshiba and samsungs ssd chips used in the Z so far. Mine (Z13) from USA has Toshiba chips.

    Thanks - I might just go for my dream laptop which is on eBay right now. The only downside to it is that it has 4GB which I can upgrade.

    @chroma - point taken. Thanks.
