    Does some one if a external battery is possible with the Vaio F12? F12 needs 19,5 V, however the external battery only give 19. If it works the F12 will have 2-3 times longer uptime without the AC adapter. :D

    The voltage discrepancy should be no problem at all, as long as the external battery can deliver enough ampere, i.e. discharge fast enough.

    Be cautious about plus-on-tip and plus-on-ring discrepancies, though -- different notebook manufacturers can wire their plugs differently. There should be a small pictogram next to the port on the Vaio that shows you how it's wired (or, for some model, on the sticker at the bottom).
