    Hi All,

Ive recently recieved my new Z Series with TPM included, until recently I just thought this came hand in hand for the biometric finger print reader.

I now believe that it can be used/or its purpose if for much more than this.

Im really interested in laptop security and if anyone could suggest ways on how to fully utilise this I would be most grateful

    Kind regards,

    Dan.

You can use it to store an encryption key like to encrypt your entire HDDs with Microsoft Windows BitLocker (Found in Win7 Ultimate version)

    Thanks for the reply,

Do you know of any other ways of utilising this feature?

I have Win7 Pro - would there be any recommended third party software or other uses?

I would of thought there must be as my old laptop had TPM too and this was some time ago, before such a feature would of been included in Windows?

    Cheers,

    D.
