ever since I swapped the harddrive to the hitachi travelstar 7k200 7200rpm the cpu on the left side of the tz seems a bit hotter than when the stock harddrive was installed. My question is, when I put the 1.8" ssd drive in and keep the 7200rpm drive in, how do I turn off the 7200rpm drive and only turn it on when I want to access the 7200rpm drive??

I will let you know how my one goes, I just received my TZ today ! :)
    My model is 32GB + 160GB.

I am trying to clean vista install without USB flash or USB DVD-rom.

when I finally installed all, I will try to turn off my 160GB.

    Cheers.

Go to Powermanagement, and let it turn off all harddrives as soon as possible.

Do this for "on power" and "on battery".

(On XP that is 3 minutes.)
