Can owners of the Z's equipped with the Gobi WWAN please help me by checking whether you are able to use the WWAN (internet access using a SIM card via 3G/GPRS) and the WLAN (WiFi) at the same time.

I had the following scenario. My DSL service, which is connected to a WiFi router at home, had a temporary interruption the other night. So, whilst the wireless router was still functional in terms of connectivity between PC's on the network (home media streaming etc.), it had no internet connectivity. So I tried connecting to the internet on my Z using the WWAN connection with the WiFi connection to the router still active. It established the 3G connection and reported as being connected to the web, yet when I tried to open a webpage I received an error stating that the webpage cannot be displayed. When I switched the Wifi off in SmartWi, I was able to connect to the webpage.

Is this something to do with SmartWi or is this a network-related issue (conflicting IP addresses perhaps - the router is also a DHCP server)? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I had exactly the same thing the other day. I guess the WiFi connection just takes precedence.
