When I got this Vaio in Kuala Lumpur, I noticed the packaging said 'Not for use in Japan' but wasn't worried as I wasn't planning to go there.

I'm now heading to Japan in November / December... does anybody know if there really is a problem these models in Japan? The most I can find on the Web is from Sony, just saying 'Model not for use in Japan'.

Is it likely to be a problem with the power supply, RF restrictions in Japan, or something totally different - if possible I want to be able to use my machine for the month I'm there.

    Thanks
