Has anyway tried using their recovery discs on a previous sony models. Like using a SONY VAIO SZ4 WIN XP SP2 recovery disc on a SONY VAIO S series.

Reason i ask this is i am woundering if its possible to use recovery discs from previous SZ series on the new SZ Santa Rosa series so i can have Win XP setup instead of Vista.

Well, since those discs are OEM licenses married to other Sony computers...not legally.
