Hi, I have an old personal work laptop I want to use at one of my work locations Scanning and emailing daily paperwork.

I've pretty much cleaned the unit out but I'm sure there is still personal info/docs that I don't see.

It's working ok except that it sometimes does not shut down completely and I have to hold the power button down to shut it off.

My questions is, I have all the recovery disks to completly clean it out and restore it to original what ever. It's window98. Am I taking a chance running into any problems if I do this?

I've never used System Restore disks before.

    Thx.
