    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone happens to know if the VAIO CR screen resolutions have been upgraded to WXGA+. I was looking on the SonyStyle website and on the custom build CR model, the configuration page shows the screen as WXGA+. But any pre-built models I view show it as WXGA. Is the WXGA+ resolution something new? Or just an error?

    Thanks!

but if you look at the more info in your links it says

The CR4000 notebook features a 14.1" WXGA display with XBRITE-ECO™ technology, with a maximum resolution of 1280 horizontal pixels by 800 vertical pixels

    no WXGA+ there :(

yeah i wish my cr had a higher res screen...but then again the 1280x800 is easier on the eyes. just not too great for graphic design.

You'd also realised the inconsistency by SonyStyle.

That was the reason I chose to add the other 3 supporting websites, and wrote "... suggest that WXGA+ is available..." instead of "... confirm that WXGA+ is available...".

So, you can now understand my choice of words.
