This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My notebook vaio cr220 does not support yahoo messenger 8.1 voice service
    it always gives an error ''this computer does not support sound compression ''

    i changed versions of yahoo n tried again but in vain. even yahoo vista messenger do not support voice. ohh yahoo vista even dont hav webcam facility anyway this is another issue
    so All Experts alert
    what's the solution dudes???
    i think i need a plug-in file support to comlete audio compatiblity with yahoo messenger......
