Plan to install Windows 7 Professional on VAIO CS17G. Looking around have found that Windows 7 upgrade has caused issues with the Volume Keys Touch Panel, FN Keys & the Web Cam.

Have downloaded the drivers provided by Sony from here, but drivers for the above are not present.

Web Cam: Sony Visual Communication Camera
Current Installed Driver: Driver Provider-Microsoft | Driver Version: 6.0.6001.18000

    Pls assist with the same.

The Sony utilities and drivers are all listed in the page you had linked. Install them as shown there. The web cam uses the MS provided driver and will work fine.

Great, so I won't be needing any other additional drivers for web cam. :)
Also, can you suggest any web cam software. Notebook came pre-installed with Magic-I & Web Companion.

I don't install any web cam software. Whatever chat client you use will use work with your web cam without any additional software. Web Companion seems to be good.

Uninstall the battery checker software, which checks for genuine Sony batteries.

For now have disabled Battery Checker from startup. But the touch panel buttons are also not working. :(

The AV Mode Button present in the middle is working with settings as per Vaio Launcher, but the Volume +/-, Play/ Pause, Previous & Forward are not responding neither the LED's present underneath the panel.

    Pls assist.
