Has anyone tried the registry cleaner and registry defragmenter in the new version of VAIO Care? I was just wondering if it was safe to use because these types of tools are usually not recommended. Even in the Vaio Help file it doesn't recommend registry cleaners. Thanks.

I have been using registry mechanic before I got Vaio Care, so I've been comparing it, because registry mechanic is VERY good, it saved the DELL I had before I got this Vaio.

Vaio Care seems to work very well, it seems to find errors that Registry Mechanic doesn't find, but also Registry Mechanic finds some problems that Vaio Care doesn't find. However, Registry Mechanic doesn't allow you to defrag your registry, which helps a lot.

But to answer your question, EVERYTHING on Vaio Care seems to be perfectly safe, and very helpful.
