Is there a way to put the VAIO DUO 11 vaiocare recovery onto an external SSD?
I can't seem to get the Vaio care program to save the recovery to my external SSD. I made a partition on a 128GB corsair SSD but Vaio care won't recognise it. Only USB or apparently CD which has to be external for obvious reasons. Any body come across this and found a workaround. Seems strange that will recognise an external CD but not SSD.

It's true, I also used a usb ssd but it won't recognize it. However, I think 32g flash drive is much cheaper than an ssd.

Yes but I already own an SSD caddy and I would like to use it as a system backup.
