Whats the major difference between 16.4" VAIO Display (1600x900)
and 16.4" VAIO extra-wide HD display (1920x1080). Upto what angle I could see my display in VAIO Display (1600x900)? Can I watch HD movies perfectly in VAIO Display (1600x900) ?

Extra Wide HD has better viewing angle. You can watch HD movies with 1600x900 but the color richness is poorer and the brightness is dimmer.

Extra Wide HD is certainly better for watching Blu-ray but there is a compromise with much too small font. You can enlarge the font but it is not a 100% absolutely perfect solution with all applications, especially with older applications, not even with Windows 7.

I thought it might be hard to see things with the Full HD screen but Windows 7 does a much better job than previous OS's. I have absolutely no problems reading any fonts on the Medium dpi settings.

It's not just the OS that matter, it's the application too. You may have no problem since you just use built-in W7 applications or new applications. But older software that is not DPI friendly may look awkward.
