I have noticed an issue with my power brick making a clicking noise and the LED light sort of flickering in conjunction with the noise. Does anyone else have this issue? I'm not sure it's a problem, but I'm worried that it might be.

    Thx
    J

I have an F series for the last 15 days, but never noticed it. But I kept my ears close to the power brick after reading this and I observed the same behavior too with the LED flickering as well. But its extremely mild and I cannot hear it unless i keep my ears extremely close to the brick.

I would not personally worry about it, probably because there are bigger worries in my laptop like
    1. Fan noise
    2. Ctrl key squeaky
    3. High pitch sound coming from inside ( which has a temporary fix as posted in other forums)
    4. Mouse response unpredictable at times.

Thanks for the response. I noticed that the fan seems unusually loud too. I was going to go back to the store to see if it's normal - I didn't notice it when I went to buy it. My space bar is my squeaky key. :-/

yes! i have a z. actually i dont remember exactly what the noise was, but i think it was more of a strange humming, not anything like dc noise and a clicking.
it probably has something very strange to do with the the power coming from the wall though, i think when it happened to me i had a high power halogen or something plugged in.
