    Hi There,

recently had rain through the ceiling that poured on my vaio FM115FM while it was on. Now it wont start. Technician said most likely crashed the HD so I got a new one. It was a replica (500 GB seagate 5400 rpm). I put this in but no joy as it still wont start. Pulled the laptop apart and it was obvious that water got in every orifice, with immediate rust showing. Others have said the damage may be complete. I have cleaned up the rust but stopped short on pulling any other parts out cept for the BR Drive and HD. Any advise on what to try to look at next? Am considering buying new laptop, same as before of course don't won't to waste money if mine can be fixed.
