    Sony VAIO F12 Full HD Premium is no longer available for purchase at US & Canada SontStyle, is F13 coming soon?

    Yes they are, at least on the USA site. I just now went in and configured one and added it to my cart.

    I configured and ordered a brand new one last night, so you scared me for a minute!

    yea WTH?!? I was researching the past couple of weeks on a new laptop to buy, and finally decided on a sony vaio f12. had the customisations figured out too. i tried out the options today on sonystyle.ca, for all the options there is an estimated shipping date, except the video card. as soon as you select the 330M instead of the 310M, the shipping date becomes unknown, meaning it's no longer available.
    also had an online live chat with a sales rep, asking when can they expect the f13's to arrive, only thing she could tell me was that it will be available in the last quarter, so oct-dec. also, from the placeholder page for f13 on sonystyle.ca, an f13 costs over 2k, whereas a similarly customised f12 was 1.5k. i hope those are not the final prices for the f13, otherwise i have to look for something else.
    i was really hoping to get my new laptop this month, but who knows how long i have to wait now!

    it was posted by someone on the f series owner's lounge. yes, if you cant reach this page from the home page, since its just a placeholder. all i hope now is that the prices are not finalised, coz i could have gotten a better f12 that cheaper than the lowest configurable f13. :(

    I see that VAIO F12 is available again in US Sony Style, but there is no keyboard backlit option.
