I am buying a new laptop with 1080p display and F23 seems to fit my needs. The other candidate is Asus N53SM. I like F23 better for its backlit keyboard. One thing Asus has advantage over is its RAM capacity. It has 4 slots for max of 16G which is really useful for my purpose.

From the spec, F23 can only take 2 sticks of 4GB SODIMMs. Has anyone tried 8GB stick in it? I can live with 8GB but 16 will make my life a lot easier.

    Thanks.

PS. In case I am not clear, I am talking about this particular model: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Series-VPCF232FX-16-4-Inch-Laptop/dp/B005KOCC84
