This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     VAIO Hardware Diagnostics - video test error

    I've been running the hardware diagnostics program supplied by VAIO and when it came to the video test, it brought up this error:

    = Video Test start =

    Video Test #1 OK
    Video Test #2 OK
    Video Test #3 Failed

    = Errors were detected. Verify that the hardware accelerator is set to the maximum value. --- (E-VIDEO-008) =

    Anybody got any ideas how to resolve this? At time of testing I got the switch on SPEED mode. Thx
