I may have the opportunity to pick up a Z series in Canada soon and as they appear to be a lot cheaper than the UK I may very well do. I would prefer to have international warranty with a rather expensive machine, does Souny do this and if so would there be any issues with me coming form the UK?

    Thanks

Canada only sells the base model btw in-store and I suggest you open the box right then and there to check for dents near the memory slots/cracks which I have seen in sealed brand new Z series in addition to the standard dead pixels. Talk to the sales person and mention how you could use the online coupon, "SONYVIP" to shave off $100 and if they could offer you the same or try to at least match the discount. Each store only stocks one at a time btw.
