    Hello Gurus...
After reinstalling windows 7, i updated few drivers from:
    http://esupport.sony.com/p/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DR...

they were of webcam, sound and graphics.. all went well...

then i pissed my laptop off when, in the same list i saw
"BIOS Update Utility", to version R0300Y8 (previously, it was R0200Y8), downloaded and installed it,. [IMG] [IMG] ((((

it restarted to complete the update,, now my laptop has been turning off after few seconds., (like during its boot, as soon as it reaches wallpaper screen, bios screen, when booted through WIn7 DVD)...

i desperately need your replies with solutions ...
your responses will be highly appreciated... ive already invested alot on it...

What kind of support do you expect to get when you don't even tell us which model you've got? Which operating system? 32 bit or 64 bit? Which graphics hardware (single GPU, multiple, hybrid, optimus)?

A link to the support page for your model on the Sony website would also help.

I think laptop model is VPCE Series. This BIOS update should improve fan work... so there is no extremely need to install it at all if temperatures are OK.
There were a few recommendations from SONY on installing this update:
WARNING!!: Before installing this update, be sure the computer is running from AC power.
If the installation of the BIOS is interrupted by power loss, the computer may not operate correctly or at all!
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.

Download the AIBSYS-00228537-1011.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the AIBSYS-00228537-1011.EXE file to begin the installation.
At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
At the "BIOS Update" screen, click "Next".
At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
At the "VAIO® BIOS Update Tool" screen, verify the version to be installed is R0300Y8, and then click "Update".
At the "WBFLASH" dialog box, click "OK" to confirm that the system BIOS will be updated.
At the "BIOS Update successfully completed" dialog box, click "OK" to shutdown the computer.

After the computer shuts down, wait for 60 seconds, then power on the computer.
After the computer restarts, the installation of the BIOS Update is complete.

If you've made installation using this points, you better to contact Sony Vaio support team
Links you will find in your owners manual , or check support contacts here http://www.manualsdir.com/manuals/4...-vpceb15fx-vpceb16fx-vpceb1mfx-.html?page=118
