    VAIO NR - randomly backspacing, what the??

    My VAIO NR just came out of the box.

    It keeps randomly backspacing when my hands aren't even on the keyboard, both in Vista menus and Internet Explorer. Extremely annoying and keep losing my work. What the heck is going on?

    Since it's out of the box, I don't think it's a trojan or a virus. But just in case, scan it to see. Also, try blowing under the backspace, maybe some lint or something is caught under it and applying pressure to the button.
