I'm largely wondering about all the "VAIO" labeled stuff that SOUNDS necessary, but probably isn't.

And the Norton stuff. Should I keep that?

Are all the media programs that are permanent (not "7 day trial" crap) worth keeping?

Finally, it doesn't seem to have come with any reinstall discs, so should I back all this up before I start deleting? Will this make it so I can't return it to Office Depot?

In other words, does Vista itself contain all the stuff necessary to run media, word process, etc? Do I NEED anything that didn't come on my Dell Vostro 1400, basically? (trialware free)

    Thanks,
    Derek
