Since VAIO Power Management doesn't work perfectly with my FW in XP, I am looking for an alternative. Is there any 3rd party Power Management that would work with my system?

Thanks but NHC is kind of old and unlike VAIO Power Management, it doesn't have brightness control or options to turn off DVD and firewire/usb ports. The clock speed is also displayed incorrectly.

NHC is POS. Had it installed by my IBM dealer (so I believed it was reliable) and even without any tweaks applied it nearly f..d my T61. The chap was also surprised to find it out, problems (overheating) disappeared as soon as NHC was removed. No power management is better then bad one.
