Do we really need VAIO Power Mgmnt in Win Vista?
I mean what extra functionality does it bring to Vista's own power mgmnt?
All you have to do is customise Vista's power mgmnt to model Sony's power schemes and voila!, VAIO Power Mgmnt instantly becomes useless.
Really, are there any benefits. I have not experienced any longer battery life... So Vista's power mgmnt is good enough.
The only thing I hate about Vista is u cant save custom made power schemes. Microsoft shud have done their homework. Thats pretty much a basic idea anybody, even the garbage guy who works at microsoft would have taught about that

Sony's power management schemes often allow you to have more control over the power of devices that Windows normally does. For example, on my TX850, it allows you to turn off the modem, dvd, bluetooth, wireless, etc giving you a little more battery life.

Bluetooth and wireless are both significant drains on battery life.
