1] My version seems oldish, namely it's 1.1.2.4

can it be upgraded, and if so, how?

2] is it as secure as any other linux distro?

Unsure exactly of how secure the quick web access, but I'm sure I read a post about it being very safe somewhere, possibly booting from flash and not the hdd or something.

3] I think I was presented with more WiFi options on 1st run and I think I miscinfigured... is there a ways to reset the setting and be presented with the same welcome screen? or where are they hidden?

cause I can easily join the net wired, can't wireless although it says: connected
